PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Meeting of the Humane Society of Douglas County, Inc. will be held on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Humane Society of Douglas County, Inc. shelter. The purpose of the meeting is to elect three Directors, and for the transaction of any other business authorized to be transacted by the members.  

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend. Registration will begin at 5:50pm, with the meeting beginning at 6:00pm.  

The following have been duly nominated to serve on the Board of Directors for the next three years:  

• Rebecca Alm 2029 
• Leslie Larsen 2029
• James Lundberg 2029

Membership runs the calendar year from January 1 through December 31. Dues must be paid in  advance of the Annual Meeting to vote.Feel free to call the Shelter to renew or use the link on our website:  if you have not already done so, or to become a new member.
