Members of the HSDC Membership Family play an important role in supporting various shelter programs including adoption, spay/neuter, foster, and humane education programs offered upon request for our community.
Not only do members provide a financial commitment for program support, they unite our community of animal lovers toward a common goal: helping the lost, abandoned, and homeless animals of Douglas County find their forever homes.
Members of the Humane Society of Douglas County, Inc. Membership Family also receive a quarterly newsletter sent directly to their home which includes: upcoming event information, happily ever after stories, and excellent tips about pet care, as well as 5% off HSDC swag purchased instore.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts
One of the most amazing ways to honor a friend, coworker, or loved one is to donate to their favorite cause in their name. By making a donation as a Tribute “In Honor of” or as a Memorial “In Memory of” to celebrate a loved one, you are not only providing the homeless animals of Douglas County with a life-saving donation but you are also letting that person know you understand how much they love animals.
Your friend, coworker, or loved one’s name will be listed on this webpage for a month! This is a great way to celebrate someone’s Birthday, Graduation, Wedding, and any other special events that may occur in that person’s life, as well as a beautiful way to remember a loved one who has passed on from this life to the next.
