We all enjoy taking pictures of our pets–especially around the holidays.
On Saturday, the Humane Society of Douglas County hosted an event where people could get professional holiday pictures taken with their pets.
The goal was to raise $5,000 to support the Humane Society’s ongoing operations and to provide people with pictures of their pets to cherish for a lifetime.
Sandy McDonald of Superior said that the event was a great idea.
“It’s so much fun to see all of the other animals,” McDonald said.
McDonald added that she would put some of the pictures taken of her dogs on her fridge to enjoy while at home and some in her purse to show others while out and about.
The event took place at Campbell Lumber and Supply Company in Superior.
Anyone who would like to donate to the humane society to help them reach their goal of $5,000 can do so here.
