If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of the lost, homeless, and abandoned animals of Douglas County, consider volunteering at our shelter! Volunteering at the Humane Society can help you gain new skills, hone skills you already have, work with a variety of animals, and help us get them ready to go to their forever homes.
Volunteer Training will be held the first Wednesday of each month, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED to attend this training so please call ahead to get on our list: 715-398-6784!
*Must be 18 years of age or older, if you are under the age of 18 your guardian must accompany you to this training and all additional volunteer shifts. Call the shelter for more information.
