South Range, WI ( — That old saying, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” holds true for a Northland couple who has collected bits and pieces of history for many years.

Humane Society Raised $60,800Now, Butch and Artie Kastern are starting to let go of those bits and pieces. Their generosity is making a big difference for sick or injured animals that end up at the Douglas County Humane Society.

City dump, one of em…ah…the country dumps…any place we could get them….

Rusted out or broken, Butch Kastern has never found a pedal car he couldn’t fix.

Everything from put wheels on them, to weld them together to painting them.
