Girl Scouts lend a hand

Name three things associated with Girl Scouts. Chances are, cookies and camp will pop up. There’s another important “C” word in the scouting vocabulary: Community.

The scouts in Troop 4068, based at Four Corners Elementary School, have been busy this year. The group, which encompasses girls in second through eighth grades, sent cookies and cards to members of the United States Navy serving overseas, made blankets for children in need and caroled with area nursing home residents.
